Polish women's volleyball team starts European Championship with semi-final hopes

Poland's women's volleyball team, coached by Stefano Lavarini, has won three Nations League medals but has never made it past the quarter-finals at a major championship. The European Championship starting today offers a chance to break that barrier, with a favourable draw on their side. The team has played below expectations this season, however. Matches will be broadcast on Polsat Sport.
