Świątek reaches WTA Cincinnati semi-final after Rybakina retires injured

Iga Świątek advanced to the WTA 1000 Cincinnati semi-finals after Jelena Rybakina retired hurt during their quarter-final match. The Polish player also climbed back into the WTA top 3 in the world rankings as a result. Świątek will now compete for a place in the final.
