Rybakina retires injured, Świątek through to Cincinnati semi-finals in under 30 minutes

Iga Świątek advanced to the semi-finals of the WTA tournament in Cincinnati after Jelena Rybakina retired hurt in less than half an hour of play. Świątek had started the match strongly before her opponent was forced to withdraw due to injury. The WTA federation reacted swiftly to the incident.
