US winds down drone unit in Europe amid expert criticism

A US Army drone-specialist unit based in Europe has been ordered to revert to its traditional infantry battalion role. The order was issued by General Christopher LaNeve, acting Army Chief of Staff. A number of military experts have criticised the decision as a step back in developing modern combat capabilities.
