Storms hit southern Poland: 180+ emergency calls, 1,600 homes without power

Violent storms swept across southern Poland overnight, prompting more than 180 emergency call-outs in the Małopolska region. In Podkarpacie, firefighters responded 69 times, and over 1,600 people were left without electricity. Both regions were hit by heavy rain and strong winds.
