Maracanã to host opening game and Women's World Cup final

FIFA has confirmed that Rio de Janeiro's Maracanã stadium, capacity 78,838, will host both the opening match and the final of the Women's World Cup. Brazil will play their opening Group A game there on 24 June, with the final scheduled for 25 July. Arena Itaquera in São Paulo will stage 10 of the tournament's 64 matches, which will feature 32 teams.
