Riot Games ends development of 2XKO fighting game due to low player retention

Riot Games has announced it will end active development of 2XKO, its free-to-play League of Legends fighting game, at the end of 2026. The company cited insufficient player retention since the game's launch as the reason, stating it had not "seen enough players stick with the game" to make it sustainable. Game servers will subsequently be shut down.
