Pegula reaches Cincinnati Open semi-final — to face Świątek or Rybakina

Jessica Pegula became the first semi-finalist at the Cincinnati Open, defeating compatriot Amanda Anisimova 6:4, 2:6, 7:6(4). She will face either Iga Świątek or Jelena Rybakina in Saturday's semi-final. The match was decided in a third-set tie-break, which Pegula won 7:4.
