Empty shelves in Kyiv after Russian strikes on distribution centres
Russian strikes on Ukrainian distribution centres have left Kyiv residents struggling to find basic food products, according to The New York Times. Shelves in at least one popular Kyiv supermarket have been left bare. Some Ukrainians joke about a return to Soviet-era shortages, while others are openly alarmed — "I don't want to look at this," one resident said.
