Despite it being summer, Poles are buying firewood for winter in large numbers, with fuel depots reporting unusually high demand, Radio Zet reports. Experiences from the previous heating season are driving buyers to stock up early. Prices have reached up to 800 złoty per cubic metre, but high demand continues regardless.
