Microsoft stops sharing digital game sales data with Circana

Microsoft has stopped sharing digital sales data with US analytics firm Circana, formerly known as NPD. As a result, Circana will now have to project sales figures for games published under the Xbox, Activision, and Bethesda labels rather than reporting actual numbers. Circana has long been a trusted source of monthly hardware and software sales breakdowns in the US market.
