Von der Leyen calls drone destruction near Romania an act of "hybrid war"
European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen described the destruction of a maritime drone near Romania as part of an "escalating campaign of threats" amounting to hybrid war. Romania's president blamed Russia for the incident and said NATO remains vigilant. Von der Leyen called on member states to strengthen their deterrence capabilities.
