Nawrocki sends "lex charlatan" law to Constitutional Tribunal — government accuses him of political game

President Karol Nawrocki has referred the so-called "lex charlatan" law to the Constitutional Tribunal for preventive review. Government spokesman Adam Szłapka condemned the decision as "outrageous," accusing Nawrocki of seeking only political gain. The law was intended to protect patients from unqualified medical practitioners, and its referral to the Tribunal delays its entry into force.
