Presidential spokesman: lex charlatan bill raises constitutional concerns

Presidential spokesman Rafał Leśkiewicz said President Karol Nawrocki referred the so-called lex charlatan bill to the Constitutional Tribunal, citing constitutional concerns. He acknowledged that the intention to regulate pseudo-medical practices is sound but argued that unlawful methods cannot be used to fight unlawfulness. He added that the president is preparing his own legislative initiative on the matter.
