Expert withdraws support for Channel 4 ADHD documentary, citing bias and safety risk
Professor Katya Rubia, a cognitive neuroscientist at King's College London's Institute of Psychiatry, has withdrawn her support for Channel 4's documentary "The Great ADHD Myth?", saying the programme was biased and misrepresented her views. She warned the film could increase suicide risk by encouraging parents to take their children off ADHD medication. Other leading figures in the field have also voiced criticisms of the documentary.
