Polish government proposes 30% corporate tax for large energy and fuel companies
The Polish government on Thursday presented a draft law raising the corporate income tax rate to 30% for the largest energy and fuel companies with revenues exceeding €50 million — effective from next year. Experts anticipate the higher taxes will be passed on to consumers in the form of higher electricity prices. Poland's standard CIT rate currently stands at 19%.
