Morawiecki slams Tusk's tax plans as a blow to Polish business

Former Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki attacked the tax proposals presented Wednesday by PM Donald Tusk and Finance Minister Andrzej Domański. Morawiecki warned the changes will erode trust in the state, hit the Polish middle class and harm domestic manufacturers. The government wants the new tax rules to take effect as early as next year.
