PiS tried to lure Kosiniak-Kamysz into betraying Tusk after 2023 elections, book reveals
A new book by Kamil Dziubka, titled "Kierownik. Kulisy władzy Donalda Tuska", reveals that Law and Justice (PiS) actively tried to persuade Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz to betray Donald Tusk and become prime minister in a PiS-led coalition after the 2023 elections. Then-president Andrzej Duda and prominent businesspeople were reportedly involved in the effort to convince the PSL leader. Had the plan succeeded, Tusk would not have become prime minister.
