Armenia pivots toward EU: exports to the bloc up 80% in the first half of the year

In the first six months of the year, Armenia increased its exports to the European Union by 80 percent, reaching 516 million dollars compared to 287 million dollars a year earlier. The surge signals a clear shift toward closer ties with the EU at the expense of relations with Russia. Armenia has been steadily diversifying its trade partners amid escalating tensions with Moscow.
