US intelligence invests in Kraków AI drone that launches from a tube

In-Q-Tel, the investment arm of US intelligence services, together with a consortium of venture capital funds, has invested in the Kraków-based start-up DefendEye. The company has developed an autonomous AI-powered drone that can launch from a special tube within seconds. The aircraft independently surveys terrain and detects people without requiring a remote operator.
