Poland plans to add glass alcohol bottles to its deposit-return system

Deputy Minister of Climate Anita Sowińska announced that the ministry will decide in September whether to include single-use glass bottles in Poland's deposit-return scheme, focusing primarily on glass alcohol containers. The move would significantly expand the existing system. Separately, a record amount of packaging was collected at the Pol'and'Rock music festival.
