At least 15 killed in Russian strike on Kyiv — city declares mourning

At least 15 people were killed in a large-scale Russian overnight strike on Kyiv, according to Ukraine's State Emergency Service. Poland scrambled its aircraft in response to Russian air activity, and RCB emergency alerts were sent to residents of Lubelskie and Podkarpackie voivodeships. Kyiv has declared a period of mourning following the attack.
