Romania shoots down drone near Black Sea gas project, blames Russia

Two Romanian F-16 fighter jets scrambled and shot down a drone loaded with explosives near a Black Sea gas project. European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen described the incident as part of "an escalating campaign of threats." Romania officially attributed responsibility for the drone to Russia.
