Nawrocki proposes new criminal offence replacing "lex szarlatan" — up to 15 years in prison

President Karol Nawrocki, having refused to sign the government's "lex szarlatan" bill and referred it to the Constitutional Tribunal, put forward his own alternative: a new criminal offence targeting charlatans to be added to the penal code, carrying a maximum sentence of 15 years in prison. He argues his proposal is more effective than the government's legislation.
