Tusk announces review of Poland's emergency alert system after first RCB SMS alerts
Prime Minister Donald Tusk announced that the Interior Ministry, Government Security Centre (RCB) and Defence Ministry are preparing a report and reform proposals for Poland's public alert system. On Thursday, the RCB sent its first ever SMS warnings to residents of the Lublin and Subcarpathian voivodeships following an attack in western Ukraine. Tusk said further work on improving the system is underway.
