Nawrocki vetoes "lex charlatan" bill — Sikorski fires back
President Karol Nawrocki vetoed the so-called "lex charlatan" law, sparking sharp political reactions. Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski mocked the decision, saying Nawrocki was siding with charlatans and asking whether he'd treat his own family with exorcisms and headcheese. Presidential chief of staff Paweł Szefernaker defended the veto, arguing the law lumped genuine charlatans together with legitimate Polish businesses.
