South Korea holds nationwide air raid drill alongside US joint military exercises

South Korea carried out a nationwide drill simulating an air raid, timed to coincide with joint military exercises with the United States. Air raid sirens blared across the country as residents were directed to shelters or told to stay in place. The drill is designed to test civilian preparedness in the event of an attack.
