US lawmakers urge Hegseth to reconsider NATO cuts, warning of Russian aggression risk
A bipartisan group of US lawmakers has written to Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth urging him to reconsider plans to reduce American participation in NATO operations in Europe. They warn that scaling back the US military presence would weaken the Alliance's defensive capabilities and raise the risk of Russian aggression against member states.
