Iran bill would criminalise contact with foreigners and foreign media

A new bill before Iran's parliament would impose sweeping criminal penalties for contacts with foreign institutions and foreign-based media. The law would make it significantly harder for Iranians to access information from outside the country. Journalists, activists and ordinary citizens with ties abroad would be most directly affected.
