Berdychowski: Europe must cut red tape or risk sliding to the global periphery

Zygmunt Berdychowski, chair of the Economic Forum programme council in Karpacz, warns that Europe risks being pushed to the margins of the global economy unless it reduces bureaucracy, opens up to private capital and accelerates tech development. He highlights the race for artificial intelligence as a critical test for the EU's competitiveness. The Karpacz Economic Forum takes place on 8 September.
