Egypt accuses Rosatom of drunkenness, falsified records and safety breaches at nuclear plant
Egypt has accused Russian state nuclear company Rosatom of multiple violations at the El Dabaa nuclear power plant construction site, including worker drunkenness, falsified progress reports, poor construction quality and methods described as "astonishing." The controversy could also jeopardise Rosatom's contract for the expansion of a nuclear plant in Hungary. The accusations represent a serious blow to Russia's flagship nuclear export programme.
