Poland tightens nursery rules: photo ban and mandatory nutrition standards

President Karol Nawrocki has signed an amendment introducing significant changes to the operation of nurseries and toddler clubs in Poland. The new rules ban the publication of children's photos, establish mandatory nutrition standards and create new daily care centres for children under three. The law also strengthens the professional status of childcare workers.
