Russia slashes citizenship fee for Transnistria residents from $600 to $65
Russia's government plans to reduce the consular fee for citizenship applications from residents of Abkhazia, South Ossetia and Transnistria from $600 to $65, according to a draft regulation. The move is seen as an attempt to draw residents of pro-Russian breakaway regions closer to Moscow. The regulation is still at the draft stage.
