23-year-old attacks 93-year-old grandmother with brass knuckles, then calls police himself

Police have detained a 23-year-old man suspected of attempting to murder his 93-year-old grandmother. He attacked her with brass knuckles and then called the emergency services himself. The critically injured woman is fighting for her life in hospital.
