Teachers' union: Tusk's tax threshold hike means just tens of zloty a month for teachers

The Polish Teachers' Union (ZNP) has criticised Prime Minister Donald Tusk's proposal to raise the second income-tax threshold. Spokeswoman Magdalena Kaszulanis says the change translates to a relief of only a few dozen zloty a month for teachers, whose incomes are not high enough to benefit significantly. The union is calling on Tusk to honour the promises he made to educators.
