Dangerous storms hit Poland — orange IMGW alert for eight regions

Poland's meteorological institute IMGW has issued orange weather alerts for eight voivodeships in the south and east of the country as violent thunderstorms with heavy rain approach. The most dangerous conditions are expected on Thursday evening and overnight. Residents in the affected regions are advised to take extra precautions.
