Target gets $994m tariff refund from US government, doubling operating profit

US retailer Target received a $994 million refund from the federal government after tariffs imposed by President Donald Trump were found to have been unlawfully levied. The one-off payment caused the company's quarterly operating profit to double compared with the previous period.
