Prosecutors open inquiry into Obajtek's attempted forced entry to Inowrocław salt mine

The District Prosecutor's Office in Bydgoszcz has opened an investigation into an incident involving PiS MEP Daniel Obajtek, who in July attempted to force his way into the "Solino" salt mine in Inowrocław during a workers' strike. Obajtek claimed he was conducting first a "parliamentary intervention" and then a "political intervention." Prosecutors have determined the circumstances of the case warrant formal investigation.
