Migrants evacuated from Ceuta beach to reception centres in orderly operation

Spanish authorities began evacuating migrants camped on a beach in Ceuta to temporary reception centres on Thursday morning. The operation is proceeding calmly, according to the EFE news agency. More than 70,000 people crossed from Morocco into the Spanish North African enclave at the end of July; authorities estimate 5,000 to 8,000 people remain there.
