Cincinnati shock: Sabalenka beaten by Bejlek, who lost twice to Świątek

World No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka was sensationally eliminated from the Cincinnati Open (WTA 1000) by Czech player Sara Bejlek, ranked considerably lower. Bejlek, from Moravia, had previously lost twice to Iga Świątek but is now on a strong run and could go deep in the Ohio tournament. The upset was one of the biggest surprises of the event so far.
