IT workers topped Polish wage tables in July, GUS data shows
July wage data from Poland's Central Statistical Office (GUS) showed pay growth exceeding expectations, with real wage dynamics accelerating despite higher inflation. Workers in the "information and communication" sector — including software developers — were the highest earners, ahead of miners and forestry workers. Employment also picked up, which GUS attributes to seasonal demand in agriculture, hospitality and hotels.
