SEC commissioner Peirce praises new crypto regulatory proposal as step forward

SEC Commissioner Hester Peirce, known as "Crypto Mom," praised the SEC's newly published crypto regulatory proposal as an "important" step forward from "inapt" existing rules. The proposal appeared days after the US Senate failed to pass the CLARITY Act, which would have been the country's first comprehensive crypto industry framework. Peirce said the new approach better fits the realities of the crypto market.
