Former Liberian vice president charged with drug trafficking and money laundering

Jewel Howard-Taylor, former vice president of Liberia, has been charged with illegally facilitating, importing and selling drugs, as well as money laundering, as part of a drug-trafficking investigation. She previously served as vice president and is the former wife of convicted war criminal Charles Taylor.
