Polish archaeologists discover unknown Inca roads opposite Machu Picchu

Polish researchers from the University of Warsaw's Andean Research Centre have located previously unknown Inca roads in Peru, hidden beneath dense tropical forest. The roads lead to platforms and terraces near the so-called Mandor Wall, directly opposite the Machu Picchu site. Prof. Mariusz Ziółkowski said the find significantly revises theories about how the entire Machu Picchu complex functioned.
