Polish sailors training in Sweden for A17 submarine as interim gap-filler

Polish sailors have begun training in Sweden to crew an A17-type submarine as part of the Orka programme. The vessel is to serve as a gap-filler, temporarily bridging the Polish Navy's submarine capability gap. The announcement was made by Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz.
