Deepfakes officially enter US election campaigns — Poland may be next

US campaign teams have begun openly using AI to generate fake statements and likenesses of political opponents, distributing them as official political ads. Deepfakes have entered mainstream electoral politics in America this year. The authors warn Poland could face the same phenomenon as soon as next year's elections.
