Russia strikes Kyiv: 8 killed, 33 wounded as air alert continues

Russia launched a heavy missile attack on Kyiv overnight Wednesday to Thursday, killing at least 8 people and wounding 33, according to Mayor Vitali Klitschko. Civilian buildings were destroyed and rescuers worked to pull people from the rubble. An air-raid alert remained in effect for over eight hours.
