Overnight alert in eastern Poland: air force scrambled, RCB alert issued during Russian attack on Ukraine
During Russia's overnight attack on Ukraine, Poland activated an air defence alert in its eastern regions, scrambling aircraft and putting ground-based defence systems on standby. Notably, this time residents received an RCB emergency alert and a DORSZ system message — a response that had been criticised as inadequate in previous incidents. The actions come as Russia launched a major missile strike on Kyiv and other Ukrainian cities.
