Russians pay average 3.5 million rubles for a new car — 76% more than before the war

The average price of a new car in Russia reached 3.5 million rubles in July, up 76% compared to before the invasion of Ukraine, according to Puls Biznesu. From January to July, nearly 184,000 fewer cars were sold than in the same period in 2021. Car sales in Russia have still not recovered to pre-war levels.
