PZU posts Q2 net profit of 1.65 billion zloty — 7% above analyst forecasts

PZU Group reported a net profit attributable to the parent's owners of 1.647 billion zloty in Q2, up from 1.470 billion zloty a year earlier. The result beat analyst forecasts of 1.536 billion zloty by 7.2%. The strong quarterly performance reinforces PZU's position as Poland's leading insurer.
